Jesse Blair is a composer, guitarist, teacher, and mechanical engineer with a master’s degree in music composition from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
As a composer, he is classically trained with a rock’n roll background and enjoys writing in both genres. He is also trained in writing music for film and TV commercials. If you need music written in any style and for any purpose, please send an email to the address shown below.
As a guitarist, he is most experienced in the rock / electric genre, but is also quite capable in the acoustic / classical style. If you need a studio guitarist to compose or simply record a track, Jesse would be happy to work something out for you.
Jesse also enjoys teaching music privately and in the classroom. He has taught private Composition lessons as well as classes in Harmony, Counterpoint, Orchestration, Composition Techniques, and Music Technology. His background in music technology is particularly strong with three years of experience as UNCSA’s recording assistant and numerous electronic compositions in his portfolio. (I am currently not accepting new students but will provide updates here if this changes.)
